If relaxed, colourful, dog-friendly and absolutely no awkward posing sound like your idea of wedding photography, then Beckie and Rob’s Scottish summer wedding at Madeira in Fife is one to check out. Their day was sunshine filled and bursting with personality. An outdoor ceremony, lawn games, dogs everywhere and a secret garden that felt straight out of a movie.
An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Madeira In Fife
Imagine a perfect outdoor ceremony surrounded by trees and hay bales for seating. Beckie and Rob said their vows outside on a warm summer’s day with their favourite people close by and the sun doing its thing (thank you Scottish summer gods). It was a small intimate wedding and the whole ceremony felt really personal. No big formal energy, no pressure, just genuine emotion, big smiles and that calm feeling you get when everyone there truly matters.

Laid-Back Garden Party Wedding (With Games & Dogs)
After the ceremony the giant Jenga made an appearance, limbo quickly got competitive, and this is where the magic really happens. Those in between moments, the ones you can’t plan are what make weddings special and individual. Forgetting about the camera and just having the best time makes the best memories and I’m there to get it all on film!
And yes there were dogs, a lot of dogs, chilled, happy, tail-wagging guests who absolutely stole the show. If you’re planning a dog-friendly wedding in Fife, consider this your sign.

Secret Garden Couple Photos (No Posing Required)
We snuck away for a wee wander into the Madeira in Fife’s secret garden for some couple photos, and honestly it felt magical. No posing, no forced smiles. Just hanging out with some terrible banter from me and chatting about their future travel plans! Beckie and Rob’s wedding was everything I love about photographing weddings. Small, personal, full of laughter, dogs, sunshine and moments that unfolded naturally. If you’re planning a wedding that’s more garden party than formal, want photos that feel real, and don’t fancy spending your day being told where to stand you’re safe with me!
