Laura & Donna’s Glenrothes Registry Office Wedding

A Creative Wedding Photographers Approach

Ah, what a day! Laura and Donna’s wedding at Glenrothes Registry Office was pure magic from start to finish. What made it even better? Me just getting to wander around the venue like a madwoman, finding all the wee hidden corners and unique spots. No one needs to stick to the same old posed shots, right? I’m all about capturing those unexpected moments—whether it’s a quiet corner or a colourful wall, that’s where I get to let my creativity flow!

Laura & Donna

These two were absolute legends. So chill, so in love, and ready to embrace the madness of their day with me in tow. I’m all for capturing the real stuff—the bits where you can just be yourselves, not some stuffy, staged version of a wedding. So when I’m walking about, snapping away in the nooks and crannies around Glenrothes, it’s those moments that tell your story in the truest way.

Off The Beaten Path

The wedding itself was laid-back but full of joy—just like Laura and Donna. No pretence, no forced formality, just them enjoying every minute of their special day. And for me, that’s when the best photos happen. If you’re up for a bit of fun and a wee wander off the beaten path for your photos, I’m all in! There’s something so authentic about finding cool, untraditional spots and capturing your love in the real world. Donna & Laura even had a good old go on the random swing we found!

Thinking Creative, Capturing Natural

At the end of the day, it’s not about following the rules of the “perfect wedding shoot.” It’s about getting those moments where you can just be yourselves, laughing, loving, and creating memories in the most unexpected places.
